FLR(M) checklist review
« on: October 27, 2017, 03:09:08 PM »
Hopefully have everything...sitting here going through it again.

No kids to worry about. WAY over the minimum cash requirements. Retired.

Slightly concerned with the bank statement we got from the bank a couple days ago. Just using cash savings to meet the requirement. Guy at the customer service desk just printed out our savings account (looks like a photocopy) dated from 13 April and printed out on 23 Oct 2017 (just over 6 months). Has a small statement that says "This statement was printed in Branch 30-93-91 on 23 October 2017 at 13:42". He used a Lloyds bank stamp and then signed his name, with written Bank Manager and what seems to be his ID number.

My wife does not have a permanent resident card.....just passport. Checklist asks for the card/document. Passport does the job I would think.

1. Passport photo's. 2 of me, 1 of my UK wife. Full names printed on the backs.
2. Passports. 1 for me, 1 for my wife. I have my old one, but from what I read if the current visa is in the current one that was all I needed to send in.
3. Land Registry document (in wife's name for possible future US tax reasons) for our house. No mortgage. The application does not ask for this.....should we send it in?
4. Marriage certificate.
5. Wife's divorce decree
6. Birth certificate for both of us. Nothing on application asking for them, do we need?
7. Documents- with both names on them.
   *Bank statement- 9 Nov 2015
   *Bank statement- 9 March 2016
   *Yorkshire water- 4 July 2016
   *Bank statement- 9 Nove 2016
   *Council tax- 15 March 2017
   *Yorkshire water- 10 July 2017
8. NHS fee of £500. Number is on form plus attaching email confirmation.
9. Cheque for £993

We will make 2 photo copies of everything. They want the originals plus a copy.....we will keep a copy as well, just in case.

Anything missing?

Fred

Send the land registry, don't send the birth certificates.

Looks like you're ready to rock and roll!

The bank statements sound perfect.
