File folders in the uK

Been here 5 years and still can't figure out why you can't buy A4 size file folders.  Sigh.

Never mind that...what I can't understand is the near-total absence of the standard, trusty, two-pocket folder.

How in the world has a country survived this long without Trapper Keepers?!!!

They really have a fondness for page protectors, instead.  What is that about?!  I've never seen such an abundance of plastic pockets.  It's rather annoying.  I just want a place to put similar documents.  A two-pocket paper folder with brads would be soooo nice.
