Proof of right to work when waiting for visa
« on: November 27, 2017, 08:32:34 AM »
Hello,

Not sure if anyone has dealt with this before, but I’m still waiting on my decision for my visa and in that time my original one expired. Is there anything I can provide my HR dept in order to let them know it’s still with the home office, but I should have it back soon?

Your HR can check your current immigration status and right to work here:
https://www.gov.uk/employee-immigration-employment-status

You can also show them the FLR guidance notes which state that your current immigration status is extended while your visa is processing (page 6):

Or

Also, does your FLR acknowledgement letter mention anything about your immigration status? If so, you could show them that.
