Fiance visit

My fiance (from the US) will be visiting me in April (in the UK) and staying for 6 months, I'm just about to start renting a flat on a 12 month lease, will I need to tell the landlord/estate agents that he will be staying with me?

It would depend on what your lease says about additional occupants and how long visitors can stay.
