#jagssuck

Our boy had his first jags today because we've been lazy and he's strictly indoor.

He's getting neutered next Monday because he's been howling non stop for 2 weeks now and it's doing our nut in.

Finally getting him sorted after 2 1/2 years. To be fair, it's really hard to believe he's already 2 1/2. I can't believe the time has passed so quickly.

Sobe had the blood drawn tonight.  I’ll know tomorrow what’s up.

You guys know he’s not just a cat to me.  Prayers, good wishes, positive thoughts, fingers crossed, all very much appreciated that it’s nothing that’s bad.

Luckily he’s already forgiven me and purring away on my lap waiting for me to stop typing.

Paws crossed.  🐾

I hope everything is ok. Pets become one of the family and the attachment we have to them is unexplainable.

Sending all my good thoughts xxxzzz

Paddie, Sean, Bandit, Tessie, Ellie, Leo and Harry have all their paws crossed and are sending lots of purrs to Sobe.

Me and Hubby do too (not crossing paws or purring, though) and are sending lots of positive thoughts.

OMG, Sobe is so beyond a family member.  He's the love of my life.  My husband and children know it too!  :D

The news is okay!

Elevated kidney results.  We are going to test his urine to look for an infection and protein.  If an infection, treat it.  If protein, he'll need medication.  If both of those okay, it's just a change in diet.

Hopefully this will continue his longevity and we will have many MANY more years with our big boy!  Important thing is if it's the start of kidney disease, it's been caught early.

Thank you for caring so much everyone.  It means so so much.

I know you feel better now! Sounds like whatever may be causing elevated numbers can be easily treated! Yay!  :D

I know!  The vet kept saying, "bless him."  It's like, "Woman, this is OKAY.  Stop blessing him - he's basically fine.  lol."  Ugh, I feel like an elephant has been lifted from my shoulders.

Awww! Good news. My friends kitty has an autoimmune condition that is easily managed with diet and pills when it flares. Vets work magic these days, I'm glad whatever it is can be treated! :)
