Hi,
Im new to this forum! My name is Fiona. Originally from Chicago, married a Englishman and been living in the Lancashire area for 10 years. Going through a divorce now and im finidng it real difficult with being away from home and family. Ive got two kids with my expartner so i will have to remain in the uk for the forseeable future. I wondered if anyone else on else on here has had to go through a similar situation and is willing to share their experience. Id really appreciate it! It be great to hear from any of you and as well to connect with some other expats. Thanks a lot.

8/5/2018 - ILR in person -- approved!
22/11/2018 - Citizenship (online, with NDRS+JCAP) -- approved!
14/12/2018 - I became a British citizen.  :)
