After back and forth with my hubby, He agreed to consider having a pet person bring Winston from Heathrow to our house. Sitting around waiting for the cat with two jet lag girls, a grumpy hubby who has to drive us home, and me dealing with all of them does not sound like something I wish to do.

I'm hoping that some service would do the pick up and transport to our house from that end of our trip.  Any advice would be most welcome.

I'd call the Animal Reception Centre at Heathrow and see who they recommend.  They'll know the good ones.  :)

Clearance and Delivery from Heathrow:

Sarah Hart <sarah@petairuk.com>

My cats came into Manchester and the above two clearance and delivery people only handled cats into Heathrow.  Sarah Hart, however, contacted her colleague in Manchester for me.

I am thinking the same about our move. Our roommate is going to watch the dogs for a month while we get settled and find a house and then we are going to fly the dogs over.

Starwood Animal Transport gave us a quote which includes picking them dogs up from our roommates, the final shots and all the paperwork, the flight, all the clearance fees and paperwork on the UK side AND driving them from the airport to our new home in the UK.

We are driving two 50 lbs over and they quoted us $5600.
