Search Function
« on: April 12, 2018, 04:41:22 AM »
Is there a way to do an advanced search? I was trying to search for information on mortgages and all of the posts were from 2003 and 2002. I'm trying to find information more recent.

Thank you.

I was sitting here briefly wondering how best to explain how to get to the advanced search!  I would've just given you a link to it, of course, but there isn't a quick way to navigate to it, I don't think.  Well done finding it!

EDIT:  Scratch that, I found the easy way to navigate to Advanced Search!  The quality of my use of this site just improved infinitely!  Thanks for inspiring me to look for this!

Yeah, just click on search, then advanced search is right below the search box, 2 clicks!  :)

My prior route was so much more convoluted... I'd use the search box at the top-right to do a basic search, then click on "search" on the results page, and then click on "advanced search" from there.  I only noticed the "search" main menu at the top-left of the page today.  Almost 6 years on this site, and I only just saw that.  I'm an idiot.

Yes!  It's much quicker to use the one on the left!
