Tami travels Scotland
« on: June 17, 2018, 07:30:30 PM »
Decided to post my travels around Scotland in here instead of the IA thread.

This weekend we went to Aviemore, the Cairngorms National Forest, Carrbridge and Pitlochry.

Had a great time! Despite the weather.

Lovely photos Tami! Thank you for sharing! Should have said you’d be in Aviemore, we could have done lunch. ;)

Rick... I never know where we will end up. I only had plans for our accommodations and everything else was dependent on the weather.

It's been so long since I've updated my travels. Stuart and I haven't had much time off at the same time. We were both off this weekend so we booked our favourite hostel in Oban. (Deluxe King bed, ensuite with a sea view at Corran House)

It was raining buckets when he got in Friday night. Saturday was overcast and misty but pretty mild temperature wise. Sunday was a cracking day.

We came back the Glencoe way to Stirling.

Wow, Tami! It seems you can't take a bad picture, of yourself or anything else! Those are fabulous!  :D

I don't take bad pictures of myself but other people can and do. They save them for blackmail.

My Samsung S8 takes pretty good pictures. Stuart on the other hand has the same phone and his photos are next level good because he has a photographer's eye.

Puffins will always be my favourite. We are hoping to see them again later on in the season after the chicks hatch. They are a lot more active then and have their beaks full of sand eels!

The Gannetts were also impressive but we didn't get to see a lot of them.
