Hipster Workplace FFS!
« on: August 10, 2018, 03:15:50 PM »
We’ve just moved into the most hipster offices .  Here’s the view from my desk

(Removed since you never know who’s looking)

Notice the scooter 🛴
Everyone is riding scooters all over the office.

You would hate working with me.  My waterballoons arrived yesterday.  I kept trying to get people on board with filling some and throwing them at people at work.  No one would join in the fun....  Lame asses.

I miss cubicles....  Ahhh, a false sense of privacy!  Would be A-MA-ZING compared to a UK workplace.

By the way Jimbo, your credit card was declined for your monthly subscription to my webcam.

Until you get your card sorted, here are a few of your favourite pics, gratis, for being such a good customer.

Every thread ends in cats.
I wanted to remove this thread just in case someone from work saw it and thought I wasn't "fitting in" and got me terminated.  I failed but at least Tami helped out by posting bizarre and disgusting cats so this thread can never be taken seriously by anyone.  Thanks Tami!
PS sorry for letting the prescription lapse, I've got friction burns.  What's the address of your Boots again?  SOS sent me a roll of film he needs developing.

@KFdancer  would you mind editing out the picture in your post so that Jim has a chance of remaining gainfully employed?  ;D

There will be some Champagne Supernova played.

We have a large collection of nerf guns stashed away in our office.  Quite a few are automatic and semi-automatic, plus normal pump action with several thousand nerf bullets.  I also have a growing collection of dinosaur figurings on my bookshelf, inclusive of a T-rex that roars and has glowing eyes...

Well, I'd love to work in that office. But with guitars around, I would never be doing any work.

I just have a tiny desk (100 cm long and 45cm wide).  We sit in rows of 4 on one side/4 on the other,  and our chairs touch each other when you pull them out to get up.  We have two folks who sit on the end of the row sideways.  So we have 26 people crammed together in a really small room. It's an all open office, no barriers between desks and it gets extremely loud. There is no natural daylight and the windows we have look over manufacturing equipment so we can keep an eye on them.
I've never gotten food on my underpants!

Done!

Can we also get Tami to remove those cats who should not even be called cats?   ;D

Wow, I'd probably not be able to work in that environment. I looked up health and safety recommendations for desk space because they were so close together in areas of the office I was in and you're definitely supposed to get more than that! There should be nearly 2m separating the back to back desks.

I really feel for anyone stuck at a desk all day.  :-\\\\ Remember to do your stretches every so often!  :)
