I remember her from Melrose Place.  Cannot BELIEVE she's 43!  My boss gets 'Grazia' every week and lets us have it after she's done.  There's an article about Marcia in there.  She'd originally wanted to do Mary Alice's voiceover so she wouldn't have to worry about hair and makeup, but the producers asked her to read for Bree instead.

I also remember Marcia Cross from Melrose Place. Also she was on an episode of Seinfeld in which she played a dermatologist "Dr. Pimplepopper MD." Jerry called her. lol

I heard on the radio the other day that Marcia Cross stated she would love to devour an entire creme cake but its in her contract (all their contracts) that she stay extra thin.
Funny, if they were REAL desperate housewives they would all be on Weight Watchers like the rest of us! lol

A lot of women who've made it bigtime either in movies or primetime U.S. TV started out on soaps--Demi Moore, Meg Ryan, Janine Turner. Hell, even Ricky Martin used to be on "General Hospital." Kylie Minogue was on "Neighbours" (and, according to Andrew, has had a lot of work--as in cosmetic surgery--done since then).

she had cosmetic surgery...Kylie??? nah ...I definately think it's just bad 80's choice of looks.

If you look at Nicole Kidman in the 80's she looks bad compared to now.

Kylie was always very pretty, but she's had, at the very least, collagen injections in her lips and bottom.

I always thought Kylie had a nose job. Not sure about Nicole but both of them have thankfully had their hair tamed since their days on Aussie soaps.

aww..bless Kylie, I was so look forward to seeing her at Glasto...had my showgirl costume ready and waiting...positive vibes her way .

My daughter is a fan of hers and I thank her for hours of rest from baby jess as Kylie songs were a source of entertainment for her.

I think she's had Botox on her forehead.  Damn, I'm jealous.  If I won Lotto, the first thing I'd do is have Botox on my forehead.  Well, after jumping up and down and calling my family.

I liked Nicole's look back then so much bettter! She used to look human! Now she's just a walking botox advert. The woman's face does not move.

Yeah, Kylie has had collagen -- she MUST have! She's cute, but those lips are not natural. By the way, my secret BF Russell Crowe also started out on "Neighbors" with Kylie.

My friend used to go to an after school disco that Russell Crowe used to run. She has got a great story about when she left her school bag behind and had to go back and get it and he wouldn't let her have it until she'd proved it was hers by telling him all the details of all the books in it.

Aaaw, lovely story! He's great ... and I'm sure he had a perfectly good reason for throwing a telephone at that hotel clerk.  ;) :-X

Can anyone in the U.S please let me know when the new season starts and where you are at (hmn, might be best to do that bit by PM's dont want to spoil it for everyone!)

I have looked at the ABC site, but I am not sure if it's September 11th this year? And there must have been a second series that I haven't seen yet.
