Looking for Nuts and Bolts
« on: September 18, 2018, 01:46:40 PM »
Hello! I am looking for the following Pet Mate style nuts and carriage/coach bolts that I am hoping someone may no longer need now they have shipped their pets to the UK.

I am short one nut and 15 of the medium-sized bolts (about 1" - 1 1/4" long).

I can buy packs of 12 online but they are £16 each, so £32 total. I am willing to negotiate a price, can pay by PayPal.

What I like about these nuts and bolts is that I can disassemble the crates in the airport without any tools.

The bolts appear to be 3/16-32 (or 10-32) but they seem impossible to find in the UK.

Thanks!

When I flew our cats, the cargo people used cable ties on the carriers. If you can't find what you're looking for, ask if that would be acceptable for your airline.

Thanks. Seems I need all-metal now.

These are from the medium petmate airline carrier, 1 1/4" long. I got an extra set not realising it came with metal. I have 13 of them and the plastic ends. Yours if you want them :)

Hi Margo,

Thanks, very kind of you. Unfortunately those are the kind I already have. The thread pitch isn't compatible with the metal nuts. :(

They didn't need metal nuts, only bolts. I would double check!
