Question about ToR1 form?

My husband and I have already been married for more than 4 months so I can't apply using the "married" or newlywed option. When I chose it it said that I don't qualify. Obviously, I had to wait for my visa to be approved before planning to ship my belongings over. Can/should I choose "other" and say that I will be joining my UKC husband who is already living in the UK?

I chose other and explained its a spousal settlement visa. It's not the best form!

Also, try not to have a huge attachment when you email it in... They may not receive it. If you don't get a reply fairly quickly (within a week or so) definitely follow up.

Ahh, ok! That's what I was thinking. And thanks so much for the info regarding the attachments. I'll maybe just do a compressed file then.

Just an update:

I received my TOR approval today. I applied on 24 September so it took only 7 business days. I actually probably would have gotten my approval yesterday but I had forgotten to include proof of my address outside the EU. D'oh! I got an email requesting it and I emailed back right away with the proper documents. This morning woke up to the approval.

For anyone who is wondering, my list of goods was very general. For example, I said "kitchenware" instead of listing "pots, pans, knives, bowls, etc." I just said "books" and not "50 books."  But I was very descriptive of big ticket items so I said "27" Mac desktop computer" instead of just "computer."

Hope this is helpful for anyone else planning to ship things.

I was thinking it was just shipped items but I am just about to sit down and submit my form and am of course over thinking it, so I thought I better clarify just in case I was mistaken.

I'd list everything just in case you need to declare it when landing. Bring the TOR# in your flight documents too. You probably won't need it, but always better to have it and not need it!

Thank you! And, yep, I agree with Margo. Just list everything you think you may bring even if you don't decide to bring it. That way you have zero issues. I listed everything I could think of. I figured even if I decide to leave something at my mom's house but decide I want it in the next 12 months, she can ship it to me and it will be no bother. I also listed my dog and cat which will join me at a later date.
