ILR - last minute question on children

I've been reading lots of the past threads about this and I understand the paper SET(M) is a bit ambiguous, so I just wanted to check to see if anyone's successfully done this recently:

My husband is applying for ILR as my spouse (5 year route). We have one child who is British from birth (as am I). We have included the child's details in section 3.6 and will be providing their brith certificate and British passport. We also have a letter from the doctor with child's name and address on it (but it only says 'To the parents/guardian of', it doesn't have our names).

Is that enough? I was under the impression as the child is British they don't 'count' on the form but there are a couple of questions asking for 'Evidence of your and/or any partner’s parental responsibility for the child/children.' and 'Evidence of where you and/or any partner lives, as the parent of the child/children.' which don't mention whether it's a child applying with you or not.

Yes, that will be fine.  They just want to see that the kid is living at the same address as you.  It's a required document, but would only actually be needed if they needed to invoke Article 8. 

Generally if settlement is as a partner on 5-year route nothing about the British child is required, except where accommodation requirement is concerned.
I cannot see the form you filled out but you certainly cannot be penalised for not including something about the child. The British child is not a part of this application except where maybe relationship is concerned.

Not true. I’ve just done an application and they wanted an official letter that showed our British child’s address.

Ask your GP or school for one.

Olga, when I attended my in person ILR appointment, they SPECIFICALLY asked if I had a letter regarding my children as it was a new change and wanted to ensure they could process my application on the day.
