Travel since submitting FLR visa application online
« on: December 24, 2018, 07:40:19 AM »
I submitted my FLR/ILR application online in early December (after working on it for ages!) but have then traveled for work to the US, and the family is heading to Italy for the holidays in a few days. My appointment is in Croyden 7 January.  I realized after going through the documents that I haven't input those travel dates into the application - is there a way to do so retroactively? I can't get back into the application, am wondering if there's a way to explain it through the document upload system.

Subtext of course (and cause for suppressed panic) is that the authorities will think I'm being dishonest on the application.

Honestly, it's so new we don't know yet.  I would just type up a quick bit of "additional information" with the travel dates and that they were taken after the online application was submitted.  Then you will have a clear mind.  :)

You cannot change the application once submitted. I’d write a cover letter to add them and submit the scanned copy in the “other” section on the sopra steria website.

Thanks for the recommendation to do a cover letter!
