Additional Job Question
« on: January 26, 2019, 05:28:30 PM »
Hello,

My sponsor has 2 jobs. His main job actually fits the financial requirements, so we have been filling out part 3A in the VAF4a form Appendix 2.

I've noticed when filling out the form, that it mentions the following:

"If your sponsor has or had more than one previous/other job, you must provide full details for each job held at Part 5. You must also submit the specified evidence for each job detailed with your application."

We don't want to add his second job, as it's not needed and also would be a lot more hassle as it's varied in pay and all the payslips are online.

Do you think our application will be rejected if we don't mention the second job? They'll see from my bank slips that I'm being paid from this second job. We already meet the requirements with the main job, so hopefully shouldn't be a problem.

You do not need to mention the second job, as it is not being used to meet the financial requirement.

Just don't mention it in Part 5. It won't be an issue.

In fact, if you are meeting Category A, that part of the form doesn't apply to you anyway. You just tick Yes to 3.12 and go to 3.21, which is AFTER the part where it says you need to list the jobs.

You ONLY list other jobs from the last 12 months if you are meeting the financial requirements under Category B, because for that category you provide payslips from all jobs held in the last 12 months.
