Food truck. Hmm, not sure there is much of a food truck culture around here at the moment. Maybe I could start a revolution.

Not a big enough culture....YET! We could DEFINITELY start a revolution!

Surely you have a kebab van somewhere?  If you don't, you are far more afield than I imagined!  ;D

Oh, yeah there's a burger van by B&Q (always smells so gross to me!)
I've never gotten food on my underpants!

I don't even have a kebab van in Central Scotland. Not that I even like kebabs.

Me either because they look unsanitary and gross to me (and my husband is NOT a fan at all). Also, I just don't like kebabs.

I just can't fathom how long that meat has been sitting on the stick.... you know it's not fresh daily.  LOL.

Yeah, I like the kebabs made from fresh meat, not the kind they slice off and serve! There's a kebab truck around the corner and Jordan has only eaten there once, its better to go to Sainsburys just a short walk further.

I wish there was the food truck culture here. We had so much amazing food back home in food truck form, and the trucks allowed the chefs to eventually open brick n mortar restaurants.

There's a very small food truck culture here (I only know of one properly in the area that moves around), but I think if given the chance, it could thrive!

I know an American lady and UK guy that run a burrito food truck full time.  They go to all the festivals with a staff of 10.  They seem happy enough.

Oh man...I wish I could work for them. Seriously, between a mexican/BBQ food truck with beer and a cake food truck, that is my DREAM (besides owning a brewery with a tap room ahaha)

You know, I have a friend in California working for a brewery there. She's earning a solid living as a server in the restaurant/tap room and learning to brew. She's been put on a course for whatever the beer equivalent of a sommelier is as well! I wonder if there are any opportunities like that here?

There are a bunch of great local breweries (with tap rooms) but I don't think i could make a living serving. I could definitely take a qualification course for brewing but it would be time I'd have to take outside of my current job (that I just don't have right now, but if I won the lottery, i'd totally just stat my own brewery because I wouldn't need to worry about making ends meet. All the breweries around want experienced brewers.
