My wife and I are applying for a spousal visa (for her) on the basis of a combination of my employed earnings and her savings.

I get paid on the 5th of each month and we're hoping to submit her application before the end of this month. Which dates would be best to use as the bracket for my payslips/statements and her statements?

Documents received in New York: May 24
Application received e-mail: June 19
Response to query about timeframe for priority: July 17

You will need to submit the last FULL 6 months within the last 28 days of hitting submit on your application (so to show 6 full months, you may need seven slips/statements). When are you looking to submit your application?

Assuming you plan to apply on or before April 30, and your most recent payslip before that date is April 5, you would need:

Your payslips from
--October 5, 2018
--November 5, 2018
--December 5, 2018
--January 5, 2019
--February 5, 2019
--March 5, 2019
--April 5, 2019

Your bank statements showing your wages going in from before October 5, 2018 to after April 5, 2019.

Your wife's/partner's bank statements showing her savings balance never went below the amount needed to offset the wage shortfall from October 5, 2018 to April 5, 2019.
9/1/2013 - "fiancée" (marriage) visa issued
4/6/2013 - married (certificate issued same-day)
5/6/2013 - FLR(M)#1 in person -- approved!
8/1/2016 - FLR(M)#2 by post -- approved!
8/5/2018 - ILR in person -- approved!
22/11/2018 - Citizenship (online, with NDRS+JCAP) -- approved!
14/12/2018 - I became a British citizen.  :)
