Hey! I moved to California 5 years ago to marry a US citizen and we welcomed a son last year. As pretty as California can be I just cannot see us staying here much longer, i hate not having family to enjoy my baby with, the cost of living is so high and the culture to work your lives away I cant get on board with so we are considering moving to the UK in 3 years once my husband is done with his electrician apprentice program. We have 2 trips planned in the next couple years so will be a good opportunity to try and look at England objectively and see if our lives may be more enjoyable there. We have no family here in the US, my MIL passed away 2 years ago and my FIL travels frequently so besides fearing I'd miss the climate i feel no desire to stay in the US. My husband is on board as he recognizes life could be more relaxed and enjoyable for us in England fortunately.
