We're following the advice on this forum to have our items of correspondence mailed to our home address rather than sent online.

My husband currently receives some of his statements online.  If an online statement includes our home address, does it qualify as an item of correspondence for visa renewal purposes?  Would an immigration officer be able to tell whether the item was received in the mail or was delivered electronically and printed by us?

Thanks very much!

The whole point of the correspondence is that the documents were mailed to your house on the date stated on them... and online statements do not prove you were physically in your house on the date they were issued.

You should turn off paperless statements for everything you can, so that you receive EVERYTHING in the post and not online.

Thanks very much.  We'll continue to get statements mailed to us.
