Thank you so much. I will see what I can find from my last visa application on the mail part. As for what part I was applying for it didn’t ask that. I think? It’s Category A which is solely my husbands finances. Just in case we will do 12
anything I should know before my biometrics appointment?
How long has your husband been at his current job, earning £18,600 or more? In order to meet Category A, he must have been in his job for AT LEAST 6 months, earning £18,600 for all of that time. So, in order to qualify for the visa today, 8th October, he must have been in his current job since at least 8th April 2019. But he also needs to provide at least 6 FULL months of payslips and bank statements from that job, which means he will need payslips from March through to September, so in that case, he will need to have been in the job since at least March.
If he can't meet this requirement, you will need to apply under Category B, and provide 12 full months of both payslips and bank statements, showing a TOTAL earnings of £18,600 or more over those 12 months, along with a CURRENT salary of at least £18,600 per year.
You mention in a previous post that he lost his job a while back, so if it's been less than 6 months since he got his new job, you won't qualify under Category A and will have to use Category B.
Also, I see that you applied for a fee waiver a few months ago - I assume that was approved when he wasn't working and was claiming benefits that meant he was exempt from meeting the financial requirement? If he now has a job and is no longer claiming those benefits (and therefore is not exempt from the financial requirement anymore), you will no longer qualify for a fee waiver, and will have to pay the full FLR(M) fee regardless (which means you won't qualify for a refund of the fee either).
