Change of Circumstance - Passport Renewal

Howdy all!

I have recently renewed my passport and will be applying for my FLR(M) visa in June.

I have two questions:
1. Do I need to report a change in circumstance given that I'm applying for a new visa so soon and will not be traveling abroad before that?
2. Will I need to pay a fee to have my passport information updated? If so, home much?

You will need to inform UKVI of your new passport number so they can update your BRP information in their computer system, but that's all you need to do. There's no fee for this.

Though you may also be able to use the online form to submit the new number (which comes up when you click the "have applied but haven’t had a decision letter" link).
