Final document checklist/table of contents for fiance visa

Can I trouble you folks one more time for a fresh set of eyes before I submit my documents?  I've put them under headings for which document categories I'm uploading under on the VFS website.

I think you have everything

1. Additional Documents

These two can be combined into one letter - the contents letter for the application.

The letter should contain:
- type of visa applied for
- date you want 30-day visa vignette to start (as per the Intended Travel Date you put on the form
- explanation of anything unusual about your documents (like if you can't provide something, or explaining large bank transactions)
- explanation of any criminal convictions and/or bad UK immigration history
- list of documents included with the application

     4. Appendix II
        (a) Appendix II form

There is no Appendix II form anymore. It has finally been incorporated into the online application form (and so it is now only valid for use in North Korea where they cannot apply online), so you only fill out the online form and not Appendix II.

     3. Financial Evidence
        (a) Sponsor’s payslips November 2019 – May 2020
        (b) Sponsor’s bank statement November 2019 – May 2020
        (c) Verification of employment and authenticity of payslips from sponsor’s employer’s HR director

Just to confirm here that the payslips and bank statements must cover every day of the 6-month period, and that the latest payslip, bank statement and employer letter must all be dated no more than 28 days before your online application date.

Also, if the payslips are issued online and printed, their authenticity must be confirmed in the employer letter, and if the bank statements have been printed by you from online banking they must either be stamped/signed by the bank on every page, or accompanied by a letter of authenticity from the bank.

However, I don't think all your documents are quite in the correct categories for uploading. As per the instructions on the VFS Global website, from what I can tell, they should be under:

Category 1- Customer’s Documents
•   The first page of the applicant’s Visa Application Form

•  Financial
        (a) Sponsor’s payslips November 2019 – May 2020
        (b) Sponsor’s bank statement November 2019 – May 2020
        (c) Verification of employment and authenticity of payslips from sponsor’s employer’s HR director
        (d) Sponsor’s employment contract
        (e) Sponsor’s P-60 for 2019-2020

•  Accommodation
        (a) Tenancy Agreement
        (b) Letting company/landlord permission letter

•  Additional Documents (passport copy/remaining pages of the application form/any other documents)
        (a) Applicant contents letter
        (b) Applicant's court record from criminal conviction in 2006
        (c) Applicant’s passport scans

Category 2 - Sponsor's Documents
Sponsor's Details:
        (a) Sponsor’s passport scans
        (b) Sponsor’s support letter
Relationship Documents:
        (a) Applicant divorce certificate
        (b) Chat/email/phone logs
        (c) Photo evidence of applicant and sponsor together

Thank you for the info on Appendix 2, I see now on the gov.uk page that it does say North Korea only.  YAY!  I really didn't want to re-input all of that in a PDF.

Support letter/employment letter/bank statements/etc are exactly as you have described.  I will re-organize the documents as you advise as well, and many many thanks!  I am quite confident that I would not have made it through this application without the help of this community.

Can you update what the backlog is looking like once the ASC centers open or you get info on this? I will hopefully be applying for a fiancee visa soon (and finally, after a year setback!) and am wondering what the backlog is going to look like.

As of right now all the USCIS application support centers for biometrics are closed, or at least all the ones in Oregon, Washington, and Idaho.  I will update when the timeline becomes clear!
