Not that there's going to be a way to access this test for a very long time, but a researcher appears to have designed a test that is incredibly accurate at diagnosing CFS.  (For the first time.)

Good news indeed.

We recently watched a documentary on CFS/ME (Myalgic encephalomyelitis) and it really is exciting that it can now be definitively diagnosed with a blood test.

Our next door neighbour has been having excessive tiredness and lethargy this year, and at first he put it down to the night shifts he works as a taxi driver but finally succumbed to actually going to see the GP who has ordered a blood test, which he had yesterday. I don't know if CFS is one of the things they will be looking at since the test was only discovered about a year ago. I expect they will look for the usual suspects for excessive lethargy first.
