FLR(M) Final Checklist approval Applying tomorrow.
« on: August 05, 2021, 01:13:27 PM »
'Afternoon all!

We are applying this afternoon for my FLR(M) and have all our documents scanned. Can someone please give them a once over before we pay our IHS surcharge and submit?

Thanks SO much!

Application Documents
- Full scan of my Passport
- Sponsor's declaration
- Part 1 consent to checks form signed by me
- Part 2 consent to checks form signed by my husband

Proof of Identity/Travel History
- My husbands UK passport fully scanned
- My BRP

Finances (We are using the cash savings route)
- We have 6 months of bank statements in my husbands name of our cash savings up to the 28th of July 2021.  The lowest these statements go is well above the cash savings threshold. Do we need a statement up to the exact date of application or is within a month okay?
We put the lowest that the cash savings has reached on the application as an exact figure. Is it better just to put 67,500 or should we use the exact lowest figure it reached in the last six months?

- Declaration of a Source of the savings. Is there an example of what we should write? Does it need to be in a specific format or just a letter?

Residence in the UK (We own our home outright without a mortgage)
- land registry document in my husbands name
-council tax in both our names

Co-habitation
-July 2019 Joint bank account both our names
-October 2019 Joint bank account both our names
-March 2020 Joint Water Bill both our names
-July 2020 Bank Statement my name, Electricity Bill in my husbands name
-November 2020 Joint bank account both our names
-March 2021 Joint council tax bill
-July 2021 personal Bank statement in my name, personal bank statement in my husbands name

In order to keep the even spread we should have a item from November 2019 but we are missing that. Do we just write a short letter explaining we are using the joint account from October 2019 in place?

Other
Marriage evidence
- Our  marriage certificate

English Language Requirement
-My American Passport

The end of the statement needs to be within 28 days of the online application. Make sure that it goes back a full 6 months from then and not a day less.

Put the exact figure of the lowest balance over the 6 months that you're relying on.

The declaration can just be a couple of sentences. Savings from income or profit from house sale or inheritance etc.

I probably wouldn't even bother explaining the lack of the November mail but to be absolutely sure, you can do that.

Thanks Larrabee!

That's great.

One Final question.

With our Cash Savings statements. We are using July 28th as the final date to prove the 62,500. That means 6 months back from that is January 28th the amount in the account on January 28th is perfectly fine, as is all of January 2021. Earlier in January before the 28th we added in 20k into that account. On my husbands declaration of where the funds came from we just put that we moved 20k into the account from another savings account in his name. Is that enough explanation or do we need to show record of the that savings account as well?

If the 20k was added outwith the 6 months, then you don't need to show bank statements for it. You do need to include the actual source of the funds in your declaration though.  eg savings from income etc.

For anyone around our timeline

We submitted the application today around 11am and there were priority slots still available!

I booked biometrics for Monday at 9am and there seemed to be plenty of slots for that as well a £138 pounds per appointment.

We uploaded all our documents and will wait until biometrics Monday!

Thanks for all the help!

Just to update everyone if it helps with people timelines. My biometrics  were Monday aug  at 9AM that same day at 1PM I heard back from then with a YES!

The employee who looked over my documents complimented their order and said its much easier for them when you scan them yourself since you know exactly what is there!

So thank you to all who helped out with the order and contents of this visa!

Success!!!

Congratulations!   Thanks for taking the time to post with all the detail.  We'll be applying early 2022 with a situation very similar to yours, so this information is very helpful.

I'm so happy for you that it was approved so quickly.
