Paid leave on fiancé visa

I understand that I’m not allowed any form of work while on a fiancé visa, but can I be on a paid leave, my company is willing to do so for me, until I get my FLR? Or that too isn’t allowed?

I would do a Marriage Visitor Visa and apply for a spouse visa after you marry from the USA.  Far too easy for UKVI to say you've breeched the fiance visa by being employed and jeopardising your visa path.   I'd keep it black and white.

I say this because UKVI has made it explicitly clear that ALL employment is prohibited while on a fiance visa.  So while I understand your view point, I think it could be opening you up to questions/problems that are not necessary.

Your employer could always offer you a "return to work" bonus once your visa allowing work is granted and pay you for your time off.  Sounds like a top notch employer!
