Indeed.  It would be USD cheques (checks!) sent to the UK - not ideal.  Or, as a contingency plan, when I looked around for others the only one that I could find that supported grabbing the funds from my US bank account by ACH was OFX - so I have actually got an account set up with them as well.  Never used them though, because (I'm almost afraid to say it) Wise has worked perfectly for me.
