Bank statements
« on: October 16, 2021, 09:39:15 AM »
I've looked everywhere and can't see an answer to this.

We currently still get our physical bank statements in the mail. Is this still the case or can I print a partial statement to show my latest pay from online? They look the same, and are genuine documents

Thankyou

You can print a partial statement, but if it has been printed from online banking it will not be considered official and therefore it must either be:
- stamped by the bank on EVERY page
OR
- accompanied by a letter from the bank confirming its authenticity
This is to prove you did not forge or tamper with the statement before printing it.

Alternatively, you could just go into the bank and ask them to print you a partial statement. This one shouldn’t need to be stamped, but a lot of people prefer to get it stamped anyway, just in case.
