I'm no cook but I do make the effort for Thanksgiving and Christmas. The meals are pretty much exactly the same though and do involve Turkey!  ;D

I bought a frozen turkey breast crown a few weeks ago.  It'll either be Thanksgiving or Christmas dinner... maybe I'll see if I can nab a second one and we can do both (scarcity of turkey many things this year).  Our usual holiday roast dinner is:

- Turkey
- Roast potatoes
- Roast carrots
- Sauteed green beans
- Stuffing (from a mix, because I just can't)
- 'Bread'; I'll probably make some rolls or some kind of bread, because I fail at yorkshire puddings (I tried one time, and it was a "giant yorkshire pudding", so I guess it's not fair to say I fail at them.  But I'd rather just have a soft roll to mop up the gravy, anyway.)
- Gravy
- Maybe a pie because I will eat pie, and my husband loves all desserts

A small group of friends are getting together.  I'm in charge of gluten free vegetarian stuffing.  EXCITING!   ;D

We’ll be away to a lodge for Thanksgiving and our Anniversary……but, we are still doing Thanksgiving dinner!
A Turkey(sorry for offending), candied yams, stovetop stuffing, mashed potatoes, cranberry sauce, green beans, homemade rolls…..oh and both a pumpkin pie and a chocolate cream pie

I randomly took the date of Thanksgiving off work ,not because it's Thanksgiving, but just because I seem to have so many days of holiday left this year that I have to use or lose.  I didn't quite realise it was Thanksgiving when I took it off.
Still I have band practise that night, so won't be doing a meal. However, I might go for making a pie, because, well it's pie  ;D
I've never gotten food on my underpants!
