ILR Evidence Employment - Director of Company
« on: January 11, 2022, 12:09:35 PM »
Hi everyone,

Regarding evidencing my salary, the list says I need a letter from my employer. I am employed by a company that I am the director of.

While I'm not technically self-employed, in practice I basically am. I usually sign this letter for my employees, so not sure who should sign mine?

Should I just submit all my companies house filings showing I'm the director?

I've had a visa application refused on an evidence-related issue before, so forgive me if this seems like a really obvious point to be obsessing over!

Thank you!

It sounds like you're self employed for the purposes of the financial requirement. Take a look at the guidance for your situation and what exactly you should be providing.
