From memory:

Two all beef patties special sauce lettuce cheese pickles onion on a sesame seed bun.

From memory:

Quarter pounder, Big Mac, filet o fish, french fries
icy Coke, thick shake, sundaes, and apple pie.

(I'm pretty sure that was a thing...)

Edit:  Google suggests I got the Big Mac and the Quarter Pounder in the wrong order, and that it's icy drinks, not icy Cokes.

Hand clapping game  :D

In my Googling to find out what you said (that I got Big Mac and Quarter Pounder flipped), I found a 1982 advert that the hand clapping game was based on...

(I love the Internet!)

(Does Ronald remind you of Jim Carrey a little bit at the end?)

Oh my gawd!  I vaguely remember that ad... that was before they changed their image to be Extreeeeeeme, associating the brand with cool sports like snowboarding and cliff diving.

I remember that song, but I'm pretty sure I never ate at McDonalds until I came to the UK!  There were always better options... in the town where I grew up, Wendy's was right next door to McD, Pup & Taco was across the road, and Jack in the Box was around the corner.... Del Taco and Burger King a wee bit further along.  Wendy's was my favourite (double cheese plain), with Burger King a close second because (while we are singing songs from memory)...

'Hold the pickle, hold the lettuce, special orders don't upset us, all we ask is that you let us serve it your way...'    ;D

We're a Wendy's house! Haha. I miss their burgers and fries like mad.
The usual. American girl meets British guy. They fall into like, then into love. Then there was the big decision. The American traveled across the pond to join the Brit. And life was never the same again.

McDonald's loved getting really jazzy with their commercials. Do you remember this one with Al Jarreau?  [smiley=laugh4.gif]

I prefer Wendy's also. I dip my fries into the chocolate frosty. Been doing it since I was 10. It's my favorite thing to do.

Oh yeah, I remember that jazzy McDonalds advert

I'm personally a fan of this one:

Trying to explain various characters from adverts from my childhood often leaves my husband perplexed.   :D

Ha ha!! I totally remember that one too!! I think I loved all McDonald's commercials.

I actually show my husband the old adverts and he just looks at me like "Wow, yeah... ok, honey..." LOL! Thinks I'm nuts!

Since you're good at explaining characters... Maybe you can tell me what the heck Grimace was supposed to be?  [smiley=laugh4.gif] [smiley=laugh4.gif]
