Fever!

Cait, have they checked his ears?  Spiking and dropping fevers like that are a sign of ear infection, and sometimes there's no other symptoms-they say to worry if the child plays with its ears, but Dagmar has had raging ear infections before where she didn't do that.

Def get his ears checked! I went through years of ear infections with Daniel and sometimes the fever was the only sypmtom. 

How is Niall doing? How are you doing?

Ears were checked by the GP on Saturday and no sign of infection (son #1 was cronic with them, Niall's not had one).

His temp is in the 99's today -- first time in 3 days.  He's gone out for a wee walk with dad.

Well that's encouraging. Maybe the fresh air will do him good.
