The most disgusting thing I ever ate was in a restaurant in Nice. It was andouillette de Troyes, which sounded good on the menu, but turned out to be a completely unseasoned sausage made out of chitterlings. It tasted faintly, but unmistakably, how a pigfarm smells, if you see what I mean. The waitress was (a) rather haughty (b) extremely attractive, which made me feel I'd better eat it all up.
