Yeah, I really hope this bitterness wears off soon!!

Glad to hear the new job is going well. I hope to join the employed after our first round of IVF (though I have no idea how future rounds will work with a job!!).

Any idea what you would like to do next?

And I'm sure you'll find your employer very accommodating with doctor's appointments and support.  You've been very unlucky with your previous employers.

A couple ideas, but nothing concrete yet. I'll just have to keep my eyes open. Just looking for a job that might potentially lead to something else (has some progression possibilities?). Civil Service, universities... but very open to suggestions!!!

It wasn't my employers that were the huge problem, it was dealing with workload around my appointments (lessons carry on even when I'm not there) and missing the odd lesson and also my low mood caused by all this medical stuff. Kids don't do well when their routine is changed at all.

If anyone wants a fun (read angering and confusing) read, Sweaty Betty has an astronomical gender pay gap of 72.5%, even though 99% of their workers and staff are female.
