Usually save these days. I used to buy them when they were on sale, 4 or 5 pairs for $20 at Fashion Bug (gosh I miss that place!), but these days I just buy Hanes 3 for $5 until I find some I like as much as the Fashion Bug ones. Don't know if this applies to bras too, but I get those at Walmart too, because their prices are high enough without going to a specialty shop. My girls aren't so big I need a lot of support and can get by with mid-range bras.

I *hate* buying bottled water and cringe if I have to do it (like at the airport).  All that plastic!  And not to mention the unnecessary cost of something that you could have for free.  So, save.

Both! Make it fresh when I have the time, but buy it in little packs for my daughter's lunch bag.

Save. Our workouts are long walks, these days, so it is just shorts and a t-shirt in summer, warmer clothes in cooler weather. When we lived in the UK we had workout equipment in our spare bedroom, but being at home we just wore old t-shirts and shorts while working out.

Limited use/specialty kitchen gadgets.

Save...

There are ALWAYS ways to get around a specialty gadget - they were invented to make old cooking techniques more efficient. For example - I thought I'd tackle handmade gnocchi the other day and didn't have a ricer. So I used a cheese grater instead. Granted - I prob wouldn't have known what to do if I didn't have a cheese grater, so I suppose some exceptions surrounding "basic tools" should be made:)

News (paper or online)
23 July 2013 - sent package to UKBA in Sheffield.
25 July2013 - package received at UKBA
7 August 2013 - received emails saying Visa being processed, and needing a Fed-Ex account number

What sparked that question was seeing a $19.99 Rachel Ray garbage bowl at Walmart. The idea of it is to save trips to the trash can while cooking. If I am going to pay that kind of money for a bowl, I am going to use it as a bowl, not to collect scraps and paper trash in.

As far as news, save. When I do read it, it is online for free. I rarely read the news or watch it on tv, and I find myself a lot less stressed, and happier. I may not be able to discuss current events as well as most, but it is worth it.

Souvenirs while on holiday

Car tyres?

Well last time I saved. Failed my MOT on tyres (the walls not the tread, annoying!) and told them to give me 4 of their cheapest, but I can't pull off in the wet without them spinning, so next time I'm going to splurge!

The last 2 times I bought bath towels, I bought them in Ikea, so I'll call that 'save'.

Mobile phone.

Save.  In times past, i used to splurge and get whatever was the latest and greatest when it came time for my upgrade.
But last time, in an effort to cut costs,  i just bought a £150 Samsung phone outright, and got a cheap SIM plan, and im not noticing any difference in quality/features.
