Good news!! It took a week's persuasion, involving my friend, the wedding coordinator at the venu and the venue's MD, but they're allowing us to compassionately move the wedding back one year without losing our £2,000 deposit! I am just so relieved, it's been a massive stress for me since my hospital admission date got pushed back...

So now it'll be 18 Sept 2010 (instead of 19 Sept 2009).

Seriously!! I think the coordinator's going to get a big box of chocs in the post - my friend said she was really fighting for us.

So for anyone who fancies getting hitched at the beautiful manor house at Bletchley Park, I know a certain Saturday in September that's now available...  :D

I am!!!!!!   :D

He asked me Memorial Day weekend when we were in St. Louis for vacation. I was totally shocked. I didn't think he was going to ask until after I graduate in August.

I'm not allowed to start planning until after graduation (a good thing, I'm trying to write my senior thesis/research project and do 460 hrs of interning). We aren't going to set a date until after August, but I'm pushing for March 2010.  :)
