Next week is Thanksgiving wanted to get mine in before then Christmas, think I choose the wrong time of year to apply. The dreaded wait.

Oh I know... I have to drive a couple hours for the Biometric appt...  between Thanksgiving  and we have snow right now... I dread going alone  ... hoping the weather will cooperate with me for the drive AND.. will Sheffield close for Christmas holiday's making the wait even longer I wonder    I'm hoping that they will all say "hey..lets knock these out before Christmas and give these lovely people an early present

Yes be careful, I use it live up North but I left now I'm going to London my logic is off.

Yes Sheffield will close for Christmas Day and Boxing Day (day after Christmas) and more than likely the scanning hub will be closed for Thanksgiving and maybe black Friday.

Try going early for the biometrics, I was there at 7:30 and there was already a line, but I was the 1st one to be processed. 

I just mailed my package in so now the wait begins.
