It came up this time. Must be my unreliable computer. Sorry!

Lovely picture! I have no idea where it is -- looks sort of middle Eastern, muslim-ish. Where are you?

Yeah, a slight hint would be helpful! At least ... country?

Nearer to home than you might think .... the largest city on this continent that has neither a tram system nor an underground ....

correction: when you said 'continent' I assumed the English continent, not the continent of Europe. Now, of course, I'm thinking, England is not a continent but an island, so I must be wrong ... perhaps it's over in Brussels or so? ;)

My "continent" quote was from a newscast here, and I think it meant anywhere in the continent of Europe including offshore islands such as UK and Ireland .... perhaps I've made this one a bit tricky.  Here's anothe picture taken a few yards from the first ....

I know someone on UKY would recognize these buildings...but I don't think she's seen them posted here yet. ;)

My guess if this is a current photo, it must be here in England. The grass is green and there are flowers also.

Yes, it's where I work!  Leeds - the UK's 'favourite city' (!!!??).  Welcome to Yorkshire Graham!
