Last night we had All Day Breakfast for dinner!

Fried eggs for me and hubby, scrambled for the boys; sausage; bacon (Oscar Mayer); baked beans; mushrooms; hash browns; bread; orange juice.

Love when we do that.  Lots of work (feel like a short order cook!) - but very tasty!

I'm digging out my Indian grandmother's recipes as I'm craving a good chicken curry. Will probably do some yummy lentils and rice to go with it.

I have pizza dough just sitting in the fridge, so I imagine it's pizza or stromboli with roasted veggies (garlic, broccoli, mushrooms, bell peppers, onion), and roasted green beans with slivered almonds (green beans, olive oil and lemon juice, roast 10 minutes, add almonds, roast another 10 minutes).  I'm making a batch of pitta bread and shredded tofu salad for tomorrow's lunch.  Homemade pitta bread always tastes just a bit nicer than bought, for some reason.

I'm stuck with potatoes (and something?) again...sheessh, I never ate so many potatoes before in my entire life.  Hubs said how about sausage & mash?  (That doesn't really do much for me).  Don't feel much like cooking...but I remain traumatized after my 'adventures in driving' yesterday & then I am exhausted after all the craziness associated with a job interview.

I like them too -- only thing, Steve just had steak & ale pie yesterday, so I have to figure out something else.  Another suggestion?

That's not a bad idea...but I need more on what to put in it?  The only fish pie I've done was a 'quick & easy meal' from Best that used oven chips as the top crust & I have fresh potatoes.

In my experience, steak & ale pie and shepherd's pie are pretty different... ???

In my limited experience & knowledge of meat pies -- I would have no idea. ???

scalloped potatoes! slice thinly and layer in an oven dish with slices of onion, dot each layer with butter and flour, top with potatoe slices, pour over milk so that it shows inbetween the slices, bung in a hot oven for about 45 mins. mmmmmmmm.  nice with anything.

Scalloped potatoes sound good, Britwife.  My gran usually parboiled hers a bit before putting into the casserole & baking -- she also used loads of Velveeta. ;D

Well, not unusually, I decided to capitulate to my DH & bought 'bangers' -- but I bought a Toulousian variety, so I'm planning to do some kind of garlic/cheesy mash, and some roasted veg to go with.
