It's hubby cooking night -- I mean, he cooks -- not that we should cook our hubbies...well, oh, nevermind.  I'm still waiting to see what it's going to be though -- 'cause he's watching Doctor Who. ???

Cut up a butternet squash into cubes, 1 courgette cubed, and one cubed onion.  Saute in olive oil w/lots of garlic.  Add streky bacon finely chopped.  Serve over rice.  DELICIOUS!

"It's people!  It's people!"

No, didn't they end up BBQ'ing the one lady's abusive husband in Fried Green Tomatoes?

I think they did! And what about "Eating Raoul"? I didn't realise there were so many cannibal movies out there!

well i'm at the in laws here in essex.

last night we had M&S fried chicken with corn, salad, coleslaw, chips and onion rings.  Luckily i pulled most of the breading off the chicken and ate more salad and corn than chips and o rings (did have a few though!)

today it's roast lunch.  she has prime rib, i've seen some parsnips (my fav!) and potatoes going in to be roasted....and she told me she's making my FAVORITE, bread and butter pudding.  OMG.  She makes it so well, i'm going to have to majorly watch myself.

The hubs and i will hopefully hit costco on the way home, but if we eat anything tonight it will be light like chicken over salad!

That's my favorite too! Soooo good! I make mine with marmalade & grated orange zest in it ... and then dump tons of cream on top! Absolutely decadent!
