It's from the cookbook 'Chinese Food Made Easy' by Ching-He Huang. It was a BBC food series a few years ago. I always make the same thing from the cookbook and I thought I should branch out! Plus, we have some cooked chicken to use up. It's a cold salad with cucumbers, noodles, bean sprouts, chillis, and coriander, with a warm peanut dressing to drizzle over it. I've never made it before, so I hope it's good!

Sure! I tried to find the recipe on the BBC website, but it wasn't there. I'll definitely send it if it's tasty!

I'm going to try a sesame prawn noodle stir fry thingy. Let's hope it's good!  :P Last night we just had some jacket potatoes with cheesy chicken and leek topping.

Mmm that sounds good

I'm having some ice cream and warm lempsip. Because both feel good on the throat and I am not hungry for anything else.
I've never gotten food on my underpants!

Ikea meatballs with Lloyd Grossman sauce and some pasta.  We didn't have much time to eat before the washing machine man came to rescue us.  ;)

Some amazing steaks from the Farmer's market that were organic/free range, they tasted almost gamey so much flavour mmmm.
Spinach sauteed with EVOO and shallots/garlic
Triple cooked chips! I am so converted to this method, we have them so rarely (chips that is) it's so worth the effort.

I still can't taste on my left side, but my right side is working now :)

The spag bol I didn't make yesterday.
When I was 5 years old, my mother always told me that happiness was the key to life. When I went to school, they asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up. I wrote down ‘happy’. They told me I didn’t understand the assignment, and I told them they didn’t understand life. ~ John Lennon

I think we're going to pizza express. They have 1/2 off in london today because of the tube strike! At least it's good for something... ;)
