ooh...didn't know Naveen Andrews (Sayid) was dating Barbara Hershey....he's also fathered a son with his old maths teacher... ???  Blimey!
But never fear, gentlemen; castration was really not the point of feminism, and we women are too busy eviscerating one another to take you on.

just curious where you peeps get that from, Stacey told me too, but there's no mention of it on imdb.com. it tells though that he's a Brit with Indian descent ...

and ... uh, btw, did I miss the pages where anybody talks about the gorgeous women on the show?? Evangeline Lilly ... now that's a girl, yummy  8)

btw, here's what she had to say the other day about the LOST cast looking too good for stranded islanders (movie/tv news on imdb):

Lost star Evangeline Lilly has blasted criticism the cast of the hit TV drama
look too glamorous to be real plane crash survivors. The 26-year-old model-
turned-actress, who plays Kate Austin in the show, claims her character looks
as realistic as possible because she's always covered in dirt and is not allowed
to brush her hair during filming. She insists, "How I wake up is how my hair
stays in the show. We wear almost no make-up and a lot of dirt and oil.
They cover us in it. I'm disappointed that we come across as perfectly manicured
and coiffed as my nails are always filthy, my hands are always scratched up and
I've always got bruises all over my body. I think I look exactly how I would if I was
genuinely stranded on a tropical island."

Korea is great.

A great country to ski on. Lovely mountains.

Yeah, they give you lousy food pickeled and you have to sleep on the floor.

"The artist is not a person endowed with free will who seeks his own ends, but one who allows art to realize its purposes through him. As a human being he may have moods and a will and personal aims, but as an artist he is 'man' in a higher sense - he is 'collective man', a vehicle and molder of the unconscious psychic life of mankind"

I lived in Osan for a year and worked in Seoul. I had an apartment with real beds! I never met anyone who slept on the floor. And I enjoyed a variety of Kimchi per my request only.

Yes, I mentioned Evangeline Lilly, she is gorgeous!

I believe I read about Naveen in a magazine.

Sun takes second place in the babes department for me!

That bit about Naveen is in his IMDB bio.

As for the women - hm.  I do think Claire and Kate are quite pretty, but Sun is just stunning.

On the subject of how "shiny" the cast and, therefore, the characters, may or may not look, I'm just not bothered - and, from me, that's saying a lot.  This is coming from a person who just can't sit through an episode of CSI Miami because of that too perfect looking blonde that's in the show.  I mean, really, who works crime scene investigation with their hair like that?!?!  You would have it pulled back so that it wouldn't get in the way (or, heaven forbid, some of your hair get mixed in with the evidence :o), and you just wouldn't look - all the time - like you've just stepped of the runway.  Pul-eeeeze!  So, the fact that I am not bothered by the way the cast of Lost looks says to me that they must look like I would - somewhat - expect crash survivors to look - albeit very interesting and different crash survivors; of course, this is what makes the plot and the show.
