enjoying the helter skelter again but this time as a mum... ;D
But never fear, gentlemen; castration was really not the point of feminism, and we women are too busy eviscerating one another to take you on.

My 1 1/2yo nephew asking for "chocolate milk".  Clear as a bell!!!  Makes me laugh...he can make himself understood when he wants to!  [smiley=laugh4.gif] [smiley=laugh4.gif] [smiley=laugh4.gif]
When I am grown-up I will understand how BEAUTIFUL it feels to administrate my life effectively.

Until then I will continue to TORCH all correspondence that bores me and to dance NAKED over the remnants of its still glowing embers.

Getting a call from my amazing and sweet fiance telling me wants to move here to be with me.  He doesn't want to uproot me and ask me to sell my house, move my cat, my job, myself.  I've been crying for hours - relief, sadness over not actually moving to England, relief again for not having to.  We will move eventually - but for now we will live in America.

(see the thread:  OMG!  I'm not moving to England)

The weather has cleared, we're off to a festival in Lanark yesterday, and today is yet another reminder of how much we love Scotland and our lives here.

Hearing everyone else having random acts of unexpected pleasures themselves............ ;D

I haven't had one in so long I would probably not see it for what it was when and if it happened.......but it is so nice to know it does happen and people you know even if you can't touch them or see them experience them........it makes me smile some of the sillier ones like the small kiddies one......you can just hear them and see them.......very cute.......

Discovering - and watching - a really good film I have never seen or heard of before.
I was born in the Summer and at Night...my mother named me AUTUMN DAWN.  True story.

Jamie's...beyond the stars and past eternity.

EMAIL or PM me for information about gigs or about booking me (solo gig) or the band.

Visited my elderly grandmother for her 89th birthday yesterday.  She's generally out of it most of the time with dementia and poor health.  But yesterday she laughed with us, till she practically cried, and was even sharp and witty at times.  She blew out the candle on her little cake and was so happy to see us (me, my dad, and his wife).

I am glad for the times like this.  They are very few and far between these days with her.

Glad to hear you're better!  (Sorry to hear you were hurt, though...)

We set a rehabilitated eagle free at the park on Saturday.  It was dedicated to the men and women serving in Iraq and Afghanistan, and was released by the father of a local soldier that was killed in Iraq last month.  It was very touching...

The weather -- this morning it was cold and rainy but now it's gorgeous!  Nice and sunny and warm -- just put two loads of washing on the line!
