Côtes du Rhône red we had with our tea last night...like drinking velvet. :)

The guy I am sort of seeing is in Vegas for a convention. He said he would call but I was really not expecting him to because of the time difference and well......it's Vegas. If you've been there, you know what I mean.  ;D

He HAS called though. Three times since Saturday. So nice....  :D

Meeting my very good friend here for a Mom's night out - Burgers and a movie.  We saw the Devil Wear's Prada and because my friend is also Canadian, I could have sworn I was somewhere in North America!  It was great.

The higher-ups are chasing me at work to put my application in for a vacancy (promotion) that it seems I might have a very good chance of getting. :)

The IA side:  Of course, now it means I have to spend my evening preparing that (boring!), 'cause it closes tomorrow & I've procrastinated as I sat on the fence about the idea. :-[

Receiving an e-mail from a long lost friend.  It's been about 20 years since I've heard from him.   :)

But never fear, gentlemen; castration was really not the point of feminism, and we women are too busy eviscerating one another to take you on.

Woohoo Alicia!!!
When I am grown-up I will understand how BEAUTIFUL it feels to administrate my life effectively.

Until then I will continue to TORCH all correspondence that bores me and to dance NAKED over the remnants of its still glowing embers.

My bags, filled with all my fab purchases in America, were due to arrive at 3 today, but instead arrived at 1.15!   ;D

I finally got my presentation done.  Now all I have to do is practice and hope the power point plays when I get to the office, or we will be relying on my hard copies.

Yay!!!  I've only had my luggage 'delayed' a couple of times, but it really sucks.  Glad they showed up!
