Hallelujah!
Ring the bells that still can ring
Forget your perfect offering
There is a crack, a crack in everything
That's how the light gets in...

- from Anthem, by Leonard Cohen (b 1934)

But never fear, gentlemen; castration was really not the point of feminism, and we women are too busy eviscerating one another to take you on.

Getting grief from my sis but she seems to be ok on the whole.   :-\\\\  I miss her!   I got to talk to all three of the kids - my 2 nieces and even baby nephew said 'hi gigi!'  :D :-*

Finding a moms/toddlers group that rocks!

No cliques, bouncy castle, friendly people, things for everyone and a fabulous coffee shop all in a oner!  I'm in heaven and my winter months will be much better for finding this place.

Yay election results!!

DH and I went to our favourite pub after work, had a great pint and they brought out trays of chicken wings...  Happy hour at the pub!!  How great is that?

Gave my presentation and everything went well, from my point of view anyway.  Cross your fingers and pray because I might be employed by tomorrow.

I've been meeting friends out for lunch every day this week!  DH was kidding me that it's getting bad when I have to work to pencil him in, if he wants to have lunch with me. [smiley=laugh4.gif]

Fingers crossed, zeuy99!  I put in an application for a higher position yesterday.  Now waiting to hear something...
