Going to the park today ...it's blazing hot in London ... ;D so Jess and I picked a spot under a  tree and just lounged ...then two girls (maybe 12ish) sat under a tree yards from us one began to play her guitar and the other began to sing...Jess got excited and asked if she could go over I told her she could but perhaps ask they may not want to be disturbed...she went other shyly and it looked like they were fine with it and she sat by them and they all started to sing and play...it was nice :)

Sounds absolutely lovely.

It was nice people watching at the park and considering I few times I seen 12yr olds in the park they are walking around  trying to find spots to have a fag or drinks it was nice to see just two of them doing something creative...although I couldn't really make out what they were singing .... :-[

I asked Jess and she said "My eyes are wide open"  ???
Sounds absolutely lovely.
But never fear, gentlemen; castration was really not the point of feminism, and we women are too busy eviscerating one another to take you on.

A coworker just brought me a purple pen and some little tiny Twix miniatures just because she could see I was feeling stressed.  Many things I will NOT miss about this job, but she's one of the people I will really miss....
When I am grown-up I will understand how BEAUTIFUL it feels to administrate my life effectively.

Until then I will continue to TORCH all correspondence that bores me and to dance NAKED over the remnants of its still glowing embers.

Jamie surprised me with Sushi on Saturday night.  Unexpected, and definitely a pleasure.

Today was a rough day, but, at least, I found out that I had booked tomorrow off (along with the rest of the weekend (so my husband and I could go to Somerset)).  I knew, of course, about the weekend, but hadn't realised that I had booked all day Thursday off as well.  Definitely unexpected AND a pleasure.

Going back to my regular job after a change for the summer, and hearing my coworkers tell me how happy they are I am back!  ;D

Getting a totally unexpected phone call from my oldest brother for the first time after having a really long day. It had me smiling for the rest of the evening.

Shoes!  ;D

Found a pair of very low-heeled (maybe 3/4"?), dusty plum, suede, pointy-toed, kitten-heel pumps at Ross for a whopping $4.49!  Love 'em!  ;D
