adverts you love & hate

Please forgive me for being awful, but I am now to the point where I wish the Go Compare guy would just crawl off and die some horrible death. I know the point of adverts is to get the jingle stuck in people's heads so they will remember your company. However, theirs just annoys me to the point where I wouldn't use them if they were nearly free compared to other companies.

YES! I loathe this commercial. Ugh!

It seems like they have run out of ideas, so they keep getting more and more off the wall as it goes on. I won't miss him at all when we move back. I am hoping, though, that the 'Justin Case' SafeAuto adverts in the US have run their course by now. That was just as bad as the Go Compare guy.

I miss some of those old funny commercials (i.e. like the Budweiser Sheep Streaker ad for the superbowl, etc.)

I hate the adverts for any programme with that horrible Keith Lemon.

I haven't had a chance to read through this entire thread (though I suspect it will take up quite a lot of my productive time over the next day or two!), so I'm sorry if this has already been posted. But whenever anyone talks about favourite adverts, this one always comes to mind. I laugh every single time. My friends suggest this may be because I'm twisted in some way.

Gee, is Philip still swoonable?   

The only time I've seen him in person was about 7 years ago and he was dressed up as baby ghandi.

But 1985 Phil Oakey was very swoonable.

On another group I belong to - I saw them talking about the Colmans gravy commercial with the cow made out of gravy who sings!!!  (and people either hated it or thought it was far too weird)

I'd never seen it (don't watch that much TV) so watched it on Youtube - I like it!
