yes, bought but ... who knows when/if they will be sent?

Do you do a lot of decorating for Christmas?

It depends on my mood for the year.  Last year I was alone, Simon in England and me here, so I didn't put up a single decoration.  This year he will be here for the holidays and I can't wait to pull everything out and deck the halls!!!

Do you send gifts through the mail, or give all of them in person?

I live 2000 miles away from my family - it all gets mailed.

Ever had to read a book for school and hated it so much you couldn't finish it? (Grapes of Wrath for me :-X )

Yes!  Catcher in the Rye for me!!

When was the last time you baked from scratch?  What did you make and how did it turn out?

bake?  ??? from scratch? ??? I made yorkshire puddings a few weeks ago, but that's all I've done in along time. They turned out ok, but no one else really liked them.

Do you like to cook? Why/why not?

No, because I'm lazy and tired.  I'd rather somebody cook for me (like when I go to my mom's house ;D)

Do you dye your hair?  What color?

Yes. I'm a redhead, and people have made a huge deal out of that my whole life, so I decided to go dark brown just to see what it would be like. I like it, but my red roots are starting to show and it looks a bit odd. I think I look older with it (I'm 21 and 1/2 the time people assume I'm around 17) I think I might be starting to miss my red hair, but I'm going to keep it dark for a little while longer.

How many dents/scratches does your car have? How did they get there?

1 door ding, caused by some ars* in the car park at my work.   And one scratch caused by a drive-through car wash.    The wheel rims are pretty hacked up, though.
Not bad for an 8-year old car that gets driven very rough!

How often do you iron clothes?

Erm . . . I'm one of those "never iron" people. I'm ok with a bit of crease here and there - better that than standing over an ironing board for hours. Ugh.

If you look around the room you're in  right now, what's the first thought that comes into your head?
I know I'm late - where's the booze?

I prever tap water with lots of ice.  I like the water here in South East Michigan.  The water in NC is horrible!!  Way too much chlorine taste for me, you can even smell it in the water, so I don't drink much water when I go to visit.

If you have/had a basement, what do/did you mostly use it for?

Big yard with lots of grass/plants/flowers/small garden.

Would you rather have lots of little presents, or one really big nice thing?

Lots of little things - I like the opening and surprise part of it all, and if it can be more than just once, why not!  :D

Do all of your hangers match?  Are they all the same type and color?
