Best: Hugh Laurie does a good American accent and his character has some great lines.

Worst:  Same formula every show.

Spring cleaning.

Best: It's spring! You can open all the windows and hang things out to air!

Worst: I've never actually done a big annual clean    We really need to do one this year, too, before my mother comes to visit.

Being given a box of chocolates.

Best:  eating them!
Worst: knowing how much fat and calories and sugar are in each one! (or at least knowing they are bad for you!)

When your spouse or partner has to stay at work late.

Best: Getting to chat online with my US friends who are just getting online when I sign off

Worst: Eating dinner late and having indigestion all night.

Ha, I know I answered that one before recently, I'll use my same response 

Best: Nice to see a woman move up in the world and get such respect and being a role model for so many

Worst: I think she's annoying and stupid Dr. Oz on her show is a complete and utter numpty and idiot and he does a complete disservice to the medical profession

Internet radio

Best: listening to it right on my computer and the choices are endless
Worst: I miss local commercials and talk radio shows I cant get b/c clear channel sucks

Instant coffee

Best: makes it really easy for people like me, who don't drink coffee, to have coffee for guests.

Worst: I hear it doesn't taste like the real stuff.

Ugg boots (or knock offs)

Best: They (look like they) are comfy and warm.

Worst: Wearing uggs with tights and a mini-skirt. What's the point?

Books from the library

Best:  everything, especially the cost (free)!

Worst:  when you forget to take them back--those overdue fees really add up especially if you've got a few books out at one time.

Spending time with the in-laws (or your partner's parents if you are not married).

Best: My FFiL likes me, now that his son and I are getting married.

Worst: He's racists and very anti-immigrant and anti-American.

The BBC

Best: Radio 4 and iplayer!  

Worst: I wish things stayed on iplayer longer and more shows did a 'catch up'
