Best: the goose bump moments that you get...Elton John, 10th row at the Garden singing "Levon" for example. Still gives me chills.

Worst: Obnoxious people sitting around you.

Digital music (mp3, itunes/aac, etc)

Digital music (mp3, itunes/aac, etc)
Best:  Fitting an incredible amount of music in a tiny space with nothing to carry around.

Worst:  Not having the CD right there with the liner notes so you can see what tune / song is playing.  Not being able to rewind to a particular tune to repeat it over and over or part of a tune, which I do loads when I'm trying to learn a piece.  (I think CDs are more user friendly).

Not being able to drive.

Best: No car payment, insurance or maintenance fees.

Worst: Walking, taking public transport, which costs more per trip than driving in most cases, and I just MISS driving.

Bonfire night.
Best:  The opportunity to celebrate a new and somewhat colorful holiday that we don't have in the US.

Worst:  Fireworks going off days before and days after the actual night.

Best: Dressing up and going out to parties, passing candy out to the adorable little ones, decorations, spooky movies, and chocolate.

Worst: It isn't a big thing over here.  :\\\'(

Hahaha it's ok it happens to everyone ;)
Best: Shopping for all the items and getting to decide what goes into your home.
Worst: The time it takes/the tons of money you spend or don't get to spend due to budget restraints! :P

Shoe Shopping

Best: Pure joy and new shoes make you feel good.

Worst: I have hard to fit feet which can make it more work than fun sometimes.

Celebrating new to you holidays.

Best- Getting to experience something new and creating new traditions with friends/family
Worst- Not knowing what the holiday is about and feeling a little silly as an American trying to fit in.

Makeup
Best:  A little lipstick makes a massive difference!
Worst:  for me, it's trying to apply liquid eyeliner--I so want to wear it, but just can't do it neatly so I go without.

I found a nifty twist up eyeliner at Kmart this past summer that goes on like a pencil but looks closer to liquid when it is on. JOY!

Best: Being able to wear different scents to match different moods/seasons.

Worst: Some people tend to wear far too much of it.

Cold weather

Cold weather
Best:  It could snow!!

Worst:  Not being dressed properly for it, and the chance of dangerous ice.

Rainy days on your day off from work.
